I was in Belle Glade, Florida and managed to catch this guy. He is a cuban treefrog, Osteopilus septentrionalis. This guy is an immigrant from the West Indies and he is also the largest of our treefrogs. I was able to identify him by his warty skin and large toe pads. He was found hidden in a trashcan the first time I found him but I found him several days in a row either in the trashcan or in the mop bucket. In the continental US, The are only found in a few isolated places in Florida (I guess Belle Glade is one of them!) and in the Keys. This also happened to be the first time I caught a frog!
